Disney and Lucasfilm have teamed up with Starlight to donate STAR WARS-themed programs to courageous kids during their hospital stay to help spark moments of joy when they're needed most.
Whether it's a toy, a comfortable themed hospital gown, or the gift of their first toy lightsaber; Starlight has been working with Disney and Lucasfilm to deliver happiness through STAR WARS-themed Starlight Gowns and toys to seriously ill or injured kids since 2018.
Here are some of the items your donation may go toward:
1) STAR WARS-themed Starlight Gowns
Disney, Lucasfilm, and Starlight have collaborated to deliver soft, comfortable STAR WARS-themed Starlight Gowns and pants so kids across the country can dress up as their favorite characters.
2) Disney Care Packages
STAR WARS-themed Disney care packages help recreate an environment of their own during a child's hospital stay.
3) Disney Deliveries
Through Starlight, Disney delivers STAR WARS toys, books, movies, and more to seriously ill children across the country, enabling hospitals to celebrate special days, like May the 4th, with their patients.
4) Disney+
Disney offers complimentary access to Disney+ - the streaming home of the Lucasfilm collection - to Starlight’s hospital network. Patients and families can enjoy their favorite movies, helping ease the fear and anxiety of a hospital visit.
